Suomi aikoo olla ensimmäinen maa, joka tekee kansallisen toimintasuunnitelman YK:n turvallisuusneuvoston päätöslauselmalle Nuoret, rauha ja turvallisuus. Tämä päätöslauselma numero 2250 nostaa nimensä mukaisesti esiin nuorten roolin rauhan edistämisessä ja konfliktien ehkäisyssä. Ulkoministeriö haluaa kuulla nuorten näkemyksiä.
Anti-Racist Forum ja Sadankomitea yhdessä Rauhankasvatusinstituutti ry:n kanssa järjestävät työpajamuotoisen tilaisuuden Caisan tiloissa, lauantaina 13.10. klo 16:45-19:00, jossa kootaan nuorten näkemyksiä rauhantyöhön Suomessa. Caisa sijaitsee osoitteessa: Kaikukatu 4, 00530 Helsinki.
Tulkaa mukaan keskustelemaan ja ideoimaan tapoja, joilla Suomi voisi toteuttaa päätöslauselman 2250 linjauksia. Tilaisuus on suunnattu kaikille alle 30-vuotiaille ja heidän kanssaan työskenteleville tai muuten aiheesta kiinnostuneille henkilöille. Finland aims to be the first country to create a “Youth, Peace and Security” National Action Plan. This UN Security Council resolution 2250 highlights the role of young people in promoting peace and in conflict prevention. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs seeks contributions from young people for the National Action Plan.
Anti-Racist Forum and Committee of 100 in Finland together with the Peace Education Institute will organise a workshop in Caisa on 13 October from 4.45pm to 7pm. The address is: Kaikukatu 4, 00530 Helsinki. In the workshop we will collect young people’s views on peacework in Finland.
